Now it says my computer can only have 2gb on the dell website but all the scanning websites say i can hold 4gb can someone tell me if i can put 4gb? I also want to put the best processor i can get for this computer what is it and how do i install it? I do a lot of HD editing so i need a computer with lots of ram and a fast processor.

I am sure 4 GB will work but make sure you have the lastest BIOS update just in case.

As far as the CPU your t5500 is a 478 pin Micro-FC-PGA cpu I believe the fastest one you can use is the T7600, but i would do a little more checking to confirm this.

Good Luck

Actually i think I'm just going to increase the ram because i have 3.2GHz and to increase it is not worth it. Anyone know if i can change the video card this is a 640m not 6400 inspiron.
