Samsung R522 FS01 and FS02
Hi all, for first sorry for my english.
![]() I would like to buy my first notebook and i like the Samsung R522. I've noticed that exist 3 different versions: FS01/FS02/FS03 Browsing the Samsung official website I've noticed that the only difference between FS01 and FS02 is the Hard Disk. The model FS01 has 320GB than FS02 has 500GB After that I've found that the model FS02 is cheaper than FS01 and i don't know why if the features are the same and instead the FS02 has a bigger HD. There's other differences that I haven't noticed? Can you help me? Thanks in advace. |

I couldn't see any differences either, comparing the FS01 and the FS03 on an Italian Samsung site. I did not find any links to the FS02 from where I am.
Can you see what the hard drive speed is? Maybe the larger drive is not as fast the small one? cheers ...

This is the link for the FS02 product details on the italian Samsung website. http://www.samsung.com/it/consumer/d...NP-R522-FS02IT I didn't find any difference between FS01 and FS02 but the HD space. The HD speed is the same (5400 rpm SATA). The strange thing is that I've found (on an italian e-commerce website) the FS02 model cheaper than FS01 and not the opposite. Look here (http://www.euronics.it/acquistaonlin...rter=price-asc) FS01: 759,99 € FS02: 719,99 € In this case is better to buy the FS02 model, obviously, but I'm confused. P.S. Are you italian? Because I am. Bye. ![]() |

I am scratching my head as well
![]() Maybe it is a discontinued model? That's a hefty 40€ difference though. I would go with the FS02 for sure. No, I am not Italian. I am American working a great part of the year in Hamburg, Germany. cheers ...
