The closest one I read is to use the BIOS from Nexoc Osiris E611, if you can find it.

cheers ...

Why you don't start looking on your laptop brand's site?
Probably this from google: http://www.mitac-mtc.com.tw

If doesn't even exist there, its probably doesn't exist at all. Scrap those mini-brand company. They make shit products.

EDIT:
Advise: http://www.orphanlaptops.com/id72.htm
BIOS: http://www.mitacusa.com/faq/

Good luck

This company is supposed to be responsible for the Mitac and many others manufacturers BIOS. Write them a mail!

http://www.insydesw.com/press/2006/press_041006b.htm

"Shit" products and models can happen to ANY manufacturers.

cheers ...

Only someone with a MITAC 8252D could tell you that. Keep in mind a BIOS is only updated if the company who produces it needs to fix a critical software error that can be fixed by the BIOS or to enchance certain features and expand compatibility if needed. I wouldnt worry if the Bios was a few years old its common and probabaly a good thing.

Well I can understand the need to update everything to the latest possible to get the most out of it but in this case your gonna have to settle for what you got.
