Get Sager NP8662 now or wait for the MSI GT628?

Hey folks. New to the forum. Just had a quick question as you can see from the title. The only thing stopping me really at this point is the price. Sager is a few hundred more than the GT628 is projected to be and the delay on the GT628 is killing me. I'm leaving in OCT for Iraq and dont want to have to get it shipped to an APO. Its hit or miss with their mailing system. Could be in 2 weeks for 3 months. Anyway, I dont know anything about OC'n and the idiot proof button on the MSI seems pretty nice along with the stock Blu-ray player. Any suggestions from people that have owned both brands would be great. Ive done a lot of reseach and its coming down to money vs patience at this point. Thanks

Both brands are good. But it will take MSI a while yet to get up to par as far as support outside Europe. I suggest staying with Sager and a 3-years extended warranty.

I own and use both brands.

cheers ...

Im not too worried about out of the country service. Im stuck in Hawaii right now which is a pain in the for shipping but thats about it. Its just a pain for me at the moment to dish out the extra couple hundred bucks. At the same time I have been without a decent laptop (and by decent I mean ive been using a 17' gateway with 1gig of ram and a 1. something processor) for awhile. I wish MSI would be a little more specific on their release dates.

MSI is not the only one with the wishy-washy on release dates. It seems that manufacturers are playing the waiting game on their new models at the moment.

cheers ...

I just went ahead and purchased a Sager NP8662 with a few upgrades. Guess my lack of patience won over the price tag.
