Chipset: Intel® GS45 with graphics core running at 266MHz
Screen: 12.1" AFFS+ LED Backlight, wide screen View Anywhere (WXGA) display
Graphics: Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MD
Video RAM: Maximum 256MB total with Intel Dynamic Video Memory Technology (DVMT)
System RAM: Two DIMM slots; upgradeable to 4 GB max total memory (2 GB x 2). DDR3 memory operating at 800 MHz
System Storage: 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD)
Dimentions: 12.7" x 9.09" x .90 (323mm x 231mm x 23mm)
Weight: 4.0 lbs. with two batteries
Battaries: Lithium-ion battery with 30WHr capacity(2 slots)

Here is a link to the specifications page:

.
.
Basically, I need to know how good Intel's 4500MD GPU is for gaming?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Depending on what games you intend to play. But being an integrated card, don't expect much out of it.

cheers ...

What do you mean? Will games like Battlefield 2142 work on it on full graphics?

Take a look at some of the system requirements of the game. One of the links here, and you can make a guess out of it.

According to GPUs specs and performance, the Intel 4500MD exceeds the minimum GPU (ATI Radeon 8500 / NVIDIA FX 5700 or above) requirement of Battlefield 2142.

You should be able to play the game.

cheers ...
