Problem with E1505
So my E1505 randomly stopped working on me. I'm thinking the mobo is shot, but thought I would ask everyone here and see if you can shed some light on it.
So basically, the machine just shut off and when I try to turn it on the numlock button lights up, and the caps lock and scroll lock buttons flash. This lasts for about 30 seconds, and then all power shuts off. Nothing comes up on the screen, and it doesn't even sound like it is trying to work. I've checked all connections, reseated/thermal greased CPU, everything I could think of. So, anyone have any idea what might be going on here? Thanks |

Swapped the ram modules around? Removed one of them if you have 2?
cheers ...

It looks like a Bad mobo,
I know you swapped ram, can you get some other sticks from another laptop etc and try them. last try just a base config, no drives, CD ROM Wirelss card etc just the base with the memory and CPU. Last does the Screen light up at all (even with a black background)

well it pretty much points to the Mobo.
you going to replace it, or part it out

probably just end up parting it out, or selling it whole to someone who wants it as a project.
I've already got another laptop, just wanted to try and salvage this if I could |
