Phyroinstinct is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
For those who dare. (Secret BIOS?) And a posting for Nvidia drivers I found.

Hayhay everyone. What up. I got borad and was browsing the FTP server and found 2 things. One for nvidia users, dont know why it is not in the d/l section but hear is a set of alienware Nvidia drivers for the go cards.

Version 56.67 (I have them on my 5600go card.)

ftp://alienware.com/Laptop/766/VGA/N....67_mobile.zip

Then hear was the interseting thing I used for a bit today.

(!!!Note: This will voide your warranty, Im sure of it!!!)

Phyro So I said what the hell and tried it out.

THIS BIOS was never post(Probly wont ever be) POSTED in the D/L SECTION

Its BIOS version 1.13.12 (Just what I though, never hear that one before.)

ftp://alienware.com/Laptop/766/BIOS/BootCD - BIOS 1.13.11.zip

Anyways, my computer never worked on any BIOS but the 1.05. XP on all the others (1.08, 1.09, 1.13, 1.14) never works. XP would never load except some times. Same rusault for my on the 1.13.12, xp still wouldnt work.

But good God, the 1.13.12 BIOS had a s#i* load of options in it. Option sepeate for the Northbridge, diffent options for the South Bridge, RAM, latency everything, the whole works. I wish it would work on mine. Probley do some nice overclocking.

Though I would share.

Nvidia users I recommend the Drivers for the video card that I posted.(That or find Thors latest moded drivers those always worked great for me)

BIOS... well that for anyone who wants to take a chance. I have heard of people frying there boards and it not being covered. And I know for sure this wont be covered regaurdless of a tech cuz it was never posted in the D/l sections

Peace Phyro
