oh i can be firm and mean as hell but it really doesn't get you anywhere (just your fingers broke a few times). lol. so now i just stay calm and polite and im getting my m17x monday so i guess it worked. lol...

I was polite, till they told me I was getting a XPS 16. Then I cussed at them until they offered me a M17x

I also suggest if you are not going anywhere with the current rep just hang up/end chat. Also, chat is alot better IMO. Congrats moonstone on your M17x, should be here tomorrow

In boxing as of this morning... but after I get it, i have to call them for my free upgrades.

I am going to push them for graphics card and processor update, but will settle for a 256GB SSD and Blue Ray Drive it if comes down to it.

I might even settle for 6gb 1333 ram and Blue Ray and just buy the SSD with the gift card I scammed from them haha

250gb 7200rpm hard drive
blu-ray burner
bluetooth

alienfx blue (which i changed to all kinds of cool colors)
windows 7 upgrade which got sent out yesterday

i lost my alien respawn v2.0 partition some how. really sux

but it really blows my damaged m1730 away.

My media strip has quit working. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the OSD app?

I fixed it by removing the battery and power cord for 10 seconds. I also disabled the 9400M because it was making Crysis lag. It now runs at 1920x1200 in Very High at about 25-45 FPS.
