EEE PC 1005HA info request
greetings,
i am trying to buy a netbook for my daughter and it seems i am looking for something that does not exist. specifically i am looking for an Asus 1005HA-PU1X-WT premium model in white. all i can find is black or blue. asus.com says black-blue-white-pink is white just a phantom color or is it just avaiable in the VU1X-WT version? thank you for your help bruce |

You might want to jump to the 1008HA for the white.

she read the part about longer battery life and covered ports and decided on the 1005HA-P in blue. turns out color is not as important as battery life. she is looking forward to not being tethered to 110v. if i may, could i ask a couple more questions? -is this retailer OK? $$330 after rebate! http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...dlist=celebros -is the screen on this model shiney or matte? -should i increase the memory to 2G? i really appreciate in advance any insights and help bruce |

The screen is definitively glossy on this Asus model. Hard to impossible to find a matte screen nowadays. The more ram the better, I always max out the memory on my comps where/when I can. cheers ...
