You are browsing within the review sections of our forums. Content within these sections reflect consumer opinions of laptops. Our admins take the best and most objective laptop reviews and index them here to create a distinct selection of quality reviews with averaged overall ratings. Many of these reviews have benchmarks attached to them which allows for users to compare their laptop's performance with others, and ultimately enables us to provide a sortable list which at a glance show the fastest laptops amongst a variety of applications (gaming, video editing, web browsing, etc...). Help us build a better laptop database by submitting your laptop review.

I own 2 DP compatible displays with no HDMI and both are from HP and sadly there is no HDMI to DP adapter as of yet so this works out better. Steve just doesnt want an adapter to hook up to his tv cheap bastard!

What is stock vs OC? Turbo mode enabled or disabled? I would actually think the i7 proc would do better in 3dmark06

Nvidia is going strictly DP. We are transitioning video cards and they are all coming with DP, not HDMI.

Plain and simple, DisplayPort is better. I know its annoying to switch but yeah. Anyway, you aren't gonna see HDMI to Display Port adapter because they are not 1-1 compatible. DisplayPort can send an HDMI signal (and thus DVI) but the opposite does not work.

Ha. The night I run Windows Vista Experience and get the highest score, maxed out at 5.9, yoob runs it hours later and crushes my score.

Is this running Windows 7?

I may have to remove your score and you'll need to upload it again. You're the first person to submit an Index Score for Windows 7. It's on an entirely different scale where the numbers aren't maxed out at 5.9. Will discuss it....

So it is a GTX? It's not different from what you stated earlier before Yoob remark.
