Learning how to get coupons codes and other percentage off offers to stack. I used to just call them and ask for a good discount and 9 out of 10 times they would give it. I think their sales team is working on commission.

Whoa dave. That's a ton of dough. Most I've ever spent on a notebook was back in 2002. It was my first AW, ended up dropping $3500 on it, not including a 3 year warranty. Since then I've elected to go lower on memory, CPU and hard drives and update those myself over time.

$ 500.00 of that was taxes but oh well. I expect to have most of it paid for by selling the m6400, but it may take some time to sell a loaded M6400 as well. If not I guess my Son going to get a nice laptop ha ha

My order finally moved to the build stage. I was stuck in pre-production for 2 weeks.

The wait was worse this time around because I've never been stuck in pre-production for more than 2 hours in the past.
