Wink FSC Amilo M3438G - Nvidia 6800 Go drvs?

Hi!

My fiance has this (quite old now) laptop, yet stable n w/ good functionality. I was thinking, what's the best slash most recent stable graphics drivers for this one? When you enter the model/serial no. in Fujitsu Support center (their site) and ask for drivers, the "official" drivers they have announced there is datestamped sometimes back in 2005.

I would like to know if I could lay my hands on anything newer, that would do? I did some searching, found some old threads (in this forum among others) about it, but they never seemed to lead anywhere. I got my hands on some Forceware version numbers, managed to download these and try, but they all failed to allocate the adapter (prolly mismatch in PCIVEN~).

So, any ideas? Anyone who've actually got it all figured out? A link would be fine!

Regards~

If it is working ok, I would definitively leave the driver alone! But should you choose to play with any "update" versions, back up the old driver or create a restore point first.

cheers ...

I know that! I'm just curious if anyone has a direct plus correct answer on whether there are any new(er) drivers available. Like I said, in regards of etc forum threads I've tested a whole bounce of forcewares etc, and none seem to match. So.. :S

Could not dig anything myself either. Only see recommendations to get the one direct from Fujitsu.

cheers ...
