Gaming laptop $400 IONS rock all I can say

here is a look at a low end ion computer (HP Mini 311) playing left4dead. Running better graphics than a PS3 or XBOX 360. Here is kicker. Its on a 11" netbook with HD screen and DDR3 Ram. Both first for laptops in general and now with ION? forget about it. It is like a PSP on steriods. It also has nVidia HDMI soundcard, nVidia network, nVidia chipset, pretty much you name it, its inside is nVidia. Oh, did I mention the FRIGGIN ION!!! Price $400 ya friend is looking at his $2800 XPS wondering what the hell he did. Oh and rumor is, AMD is wanting to put the ION with a NEO! I know right SEXY!!

will post more games soon waiting on ext rom drive so I can play some better games. Friend said his 2gig ram HP 311 played Call of Duty 4 like it was nothing. I know alienware and XPS owners want to explode lol Little $400 systems running mid - high end games rofl. Plus have true HD. Oh thats gotta sting. Havnt found ram either at BestBuy or Office Depot. Guess DDR3 for laptops is still hard to find.

Try NewEgg for DDR3 SO-DIMM.

wow, that's REALLY impressive, I knew Ion was hot to trot, but not that much. I must have one of these Ion equipped netbooks.

Aparrently there's also a hack available that lets the Ion LE in the 311 work with Windows 7 drivers and DX10.

Yes, the Ion LE and the Ion are the same, except the Ion LE has a different identifier for the drivers that disabled DX10 support. Makes sense though that they would be the same. Takes a bit more R&D to engineer two separate pieces of silicon.
