HP Pavillion dv9500 lcd shows nothing
I am reaching out to you guys in hopes to get the best advice to get my laptop working again!
I have an HP Pavillion dv9500. It worked perfect up until about two months ago. One day I turned it on and the screen wouldn't show anything. The computer actually turns on and all of the keyboard lights turn on but the screen is blank. It seems like the backlight lights up because the screen turns into that light grayish color but it doesn't actually show a picture. I've hooked it up to my tv using an HDMI cable and I don't get a picture on the tv either. I've read about people having the same issue with their HP pavillion and have tried numberous fixes from other forums online, but nothing has worked. What do you guys think the problem is? |

Forget the HDMI, try to plug in an external monitor via VGA first and see if you can get some screen there.
