Thumbs down Windows Updates causing IE8 Crashes

Ever since the october batch of monthly Updates were installed and there were 13 of them, I have had constant daily IE crashes.
No way to know which update is causing this problem, Windows Help and Support as usual is of no help ! and I cannot do a system restore it seems to before the date of these updates, altho they say I can create a restore point which I have done, but that doesnt appear on the list of restore points, and I have no way of uninstalling the whole batch of updates, can only uninstall one at a time, Anyone have any ideas on this please, appreciate any advice on a solution. Checking for solutions from Microsoft, as usual, doesnt give anything. They never seem to have solutions these people I have Windows Vista OS.
Thanks in advance for anyones thoughts on this.
Event Log only gives Event ID 1000 and 1001, and on TechNet there are never any solutions for these two Events anyway either !
