Renew Warrenty or Do something Bad?

Hey all,

I posted here a while back about selling my insipiron 9300 and it turns out that i can get about 300-400 clams for it. I thought really hard about selling it but this is my first laptop so its kinda hard to part with it until it croaks

My question to this wonderful community is, I know that a lot of you have had experiences with getting a brand new "refurb" laptop that its a hair better than the one you have now because of the dell complete care warranty.

I currently have till mid December until my CC warranty runs out. Now, this is distasteful i know, but the tech that came out to replace my video card told me before my warranty runs out i should call dell again and tell them nothing works....Has anyone actually done this? or what do you think i should do???

Please send me a pm if you would rather not speak about it in public

Thanks to you all,
T

I hope for everyone's sake that a Dell REP does not see this thread; which is very likely.

Renew your warranty or just get a new comp.

One more post about a suggestion of doing nasty thing, I am gonna delete the thread

cheers ...

Just for future reference, intentionally breaking your computer to get a new one under warranty is against Dell's terms of service and not supported by Notebook Forums. Such activity defrauds Dell and ultimately raises prices for future systems. Thread closed.
