Scored lower on 3dmark03 with these new drivers. Does stability come at the cost of speed?

There's about a 20 point loss in score, but thats not even enough to be considered for me. Looks like it "supports" the Radeon 9700 now though.

Strange, ever since I installed these new drivers I experience "LCD meltdown" once in a while in 2-d apps such as a web site, a word doc, etc ...
My screen looks like it is melting, colors fade, and I have to reboot my PC. I swicthed back to the older drivers and the problem went away. EDIT: Problem is still there, so the drivers are not the cause. ![]() Last edited by dpelchat; 05-25-2004 at 12:32 PM. |

Just installed the omega's on my 8887, seems to work fine. BFV works good. not done much else yet. Anyone else using the overclock feature? What are your settings? (for the 8887) I am using it, 279 core and 187.88 mem. Seems ok.

This driver seems to fix an issue I had using a certain 3d application, specifically Maya. Which had some issues on my laptop, earlier drivers (any version) gave me a distorted picture in renderview.
This works ok now ![]() I hope the next also fixes a refresh problem of mine. |

I installed the drivers. I get this however when I start splinter cell, and a search for vga controller when I boot up the computer.
