driver versions

These may be dumb questions...but my first couple of searches did not specifically answer my questions.

How can you tell what version the Sager drivers on their download page are (other than the video driver which is listed as ver. 7.97)?

Is there somewhere that describes what changes has been made between versions? Just got a new 8790...I would like to make a somewhat half intelligent decision as to update or not.

Sager's drivers come as executables...do they self install or does the executable create several files, which must be then manually installed?

The manual states that driver installation needs to be done in a specific order...but since I would only want to update a couple...do i still need to follow that order or do one...reboot...do another...ect

Thanks

goto ati's site the 7.97 is a reference number, Cross reference the number against ATI's site you can figure it out from there.

Highly recommend that you go with Omega drivers for the video card. Tend to yield better fps and general perfomance. http://www.omegacorner.com/
