SAVE THE ALIENS!!!

Wow you rarely hear that in the movies

They do have a System, its called "Oracle". Very powerful, not well known it seems. Maybe Alienware needs an Oracle Sys Admin? I should apply

I ordered a week ago, paid in full with a wire transfer and I'm still haven't moved from phase1 .I'd rather they didn't employ a phase system if they're not going to update it as it's very fustrating watching nothing move from one week to the next.

Hopefully what everyone says about the phases being inaccurate is true.I certainly don't mind 3-4weeks of waiting but after that I'm going to die of anticipation.

Nice forum by the way.

Vision.

Joy Division:

It would be a good idea just to call Alienware and make sure the billing went through correctly.

Congrats on your purchase.

Thanks for the welcome lads.

So I moved to phase 2 yesterday but then realised I'd forgotten to add the DVD-RW drive so it's back to phase 1 for me.HAHAHA.

Oh well, the best things come to those who wait.Or so I keep telling myself.

Mind you I'm a sucker for an irish accent,so maybe there was something freudian going on there.

Well I'm very dissapointed in the service.

I've now been on phase 2 for 2 weeks.Someone finally rang me yesterday to tell me my bank hadn't wiretransferred the full amount.Apparently the bank had taken their fee out of the final payment depite me expressly telling them not to.
I accept this is not Alienwears fault, but I rang them the day after to check they'd recieved my payment and they said yes it'd be authorised in 4 days. Why does it take a further 2 weeks for anyone to discover theres a problem.Irrespective of that I still find it somewhat amazing that you deem it necessary to delay a £1700 order over a £21 discrepancy. As a retailer who runs his own business I can guarantee you that if I was to conduct my concern in a similar fasion I would be bankrupt within the year.
Hopefully Neil will come good for me and deliver on his promise of 15 days from yesterday. We shall see,I'm certainly not holding my breath;as I've still not moved from phase 2 despit all my correspondance.
I wonder if the U.S customers would put up with this lack of expediency.
One slightly discouraged customer.

well Joy, when phases start moving, they can move pretty quickly even if there had been some kind of hold up in the begining. There was just another person that had some trouble getting his order to move I'll send a message to the person that helped him out. I see that you have been speaking with Neil. Ive heard a lot of good things about that person getting things done. You should be fine but I'll send that message anyways.
