Jamasters Registry Tweaks

I posted htis over in help & Support but people have PM'd me about tweaks so here it is...

I created .reg file withall the services tweaks and some others in it. all you need to do is save the file to your desktop, double click on it and BLAM, you're tweaked out.

the only set back is its for XP Pro not home. i'll make an xp home one later.

Also, i STRONGLY suggest you back up the registry before you do this. This way if you dont liek the results you can just revert back. to do so:

-Click on Start -> Run.
-Type 'regedit' hit ENTER
-Click on FILE
-Click on EXPORT
-Save the file to your desktop. BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .REG FILE!

Anyhow just save my file to your desktop and double click it.

the tweaks in it are:
-disable uneeded services
-speed up start menu
-remove shortcut arrows from icons
-disable search assitant

If anyonehas a tweak they'd liek to add just let me know.
You'll need to restart for some of these to take effect.

to remove any of theese tweaks just open the file with notepad and remove the liens under the labeled tweaks.

To restore your old settings just double-click on the registry backup you exported.

** use this at your own risk i wont be held responsible harm that may come to your computer **
