Does the CL 56 suport adding bluetooth?

If I wanted to add bluetooth to my cl 56 how would I?

Easiest ways would be with a PCMCIA Bluetooth card, or a USB Bluetooth adapter. I have heard of Mini-PCI cards that have both Bluetooth and WiFi on the same card, that could be an option to look into.

Yes, and there's also very small bluetooth adapters that plug into USB ports. The part outside the USB port isn't much bigger than the USB plug itself.

I thought there was a module that could be soldered on. I remember Rince discussing it before.

yeah rince was looking into the prospect of internal bluetooth, which appears to have been cancelled for the CL56 because the manufacturer didn't have them at the time..

I'm just wondering, what do you guys use bluetooth for/are interested in using it for? The only thing I would really use it for would be a quality wireless mouse.

I use mine for the mouse, a wireless gateway (hands-free/auto answer) for my SE Z600, and to sync my iPAQ2210. It's also great for file transfers.

There is a module that replaces the internal modem. The new module is supposed to be a combo modem/bluetooth. I found one after 2 years of looking however now I have it installed and ezbutton doesn't recognize it. I'm hoping I can find somewhere online how to activate it.
