NP8890 won't boot (Power / Charge light on) LCD Dead
This sounds like a common yet odd thing that NP8890s have.
I power my box off during the night and leave it plugged in (BUT I turn the power strip off). So, technically there's NO power. Now, in the morning when I hit the power button (First on the strip then the NP8890) ONLY the charge/power lights come on it sounds like it powers up, but the LCD is dead. I have to unplug the power coard, then hit the power button (when it's fully off), for it to 'power-up'. Then hook the power back up to it (fix the LCD brightness) and things fine. Then it works fine. My question is should this be a return/contact issue or is this something else trivial of how you operate the machine?
