Sup everyone...
Ive been doing a little research, but i cant really get a straight answer on this.. but im looking to set up 3 or 4 monitors.. i have 2 on my ATI 9600 pro right now.. and that works fine, but i work with too much crap at once and im tired of alt-Tabbing.. I would like to set up 3 monitors, and i was told since my current video card is AGP, ill need a PCI card to continue the span of the monitors.. If this works right off the bat, good.. but then i have another problem... IF i get the 3/4 monitors set up.. when i play games i would like to span the game across 3 screens as 1 big picture, not 3 duplicates.. how do i go abotu doing this?? if anyone can help me, it would be MUCH appreciated... as for the monitors, not sure what im gonna get.. im just gonna hit up some garage sales and pick up like 5 for usually 5$ a piece and test them all out.. -Evil Juggalo

1) i think you need 1 video card with 3 outputs for that to work (im wrong... it can work with 2 video cards... try matrox.com...)
and 2) i think there are only certain games that are compatible with that kind of technology... i know AvP2 is one... |

Even if i bought 1 of those Parhelia video cards, they only have 2 video ports on the card.. where does the 3rd one come in??

The Matrox line of cards like Dukefrukem pointed out would work for what you want. http://www.matrox.com/mga/products/parhelia/home.cfm They include a special adapter cable so you can have three seprate monitors going at the same time. http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp?style=album this shows the contents of the box it comes in. As to what games it will be compatible with, here is a list. http://www.matrox.com/mga/3d_gaming/surrgame.cfm Also you have a choice of 128MB or 256MB on the card.

...so technically.. if I got 2 of their splitters.. i could use 4 monitors on one video card... now.. if so.. does this divide up the onboard DDR for each screen.. like 4x32mb.. or do i get a full 1x128mb divided amongst all the screens

if you got their card i don't think you could use two splitters, you should e-mail them about that and concerning the RAM, I have no idea how it splits it up.
