I am sure there is a program to do this
I want my Mitac 8050 to automatically turn the brightness down and put the power scheme on max battery when it is not plugged in. Of course then when I plug it in I want it to automatically set to always on power scheme and turn the brightness up. Maybe I am just retarded and windows XP can already do this but it surely didn't jump out at me. So if there is anything that can do this that would be great
. Also just wondering how much do you think plugging in a USB optical mouse would affect the battery life? |

My CL56 already does the brightness thing on it's own... It doesn't turn it down by much, only one level, but it does do it.
For the battery thing, I use SpeedSwitch XP, it lets you change the behaviour that you want it when on battery or AC power, and it also lets you change it manually.
