Gateway m520?

Does anyone have one of these yet? I CANNOT find reviews or pics anywhere. I'm seriously considering getting one to replace my bulky desktop. To be honest, I'm not too happy with gateway's selection right now. I actually wanted an m200 or m505 but those are no longer available sadly.
The m520X with 15.4 inch screen, 80gb hd, dvd/cd burners, and 512 mb memory sounds good but I'm not sure.
To be honest, I think the notebook isn't very attractive but I'm hoping the performance can make up for this.... I appreciate the design of the m505 more but the higher price and 9.0 weight discouraged me.

Thumbs up Just got it

I just received mine. I got a good deal. I got the M520 Plus and a mini mouse for $919 including tax and shipping. I had problems with the online site and had a rep order it. This was back when the upgrade was only $50.

I like it so far. There are 4 USB ports (2 in back and 2 on side) which is really nice since most laptops in this price range only have 2. With the upgrade you get firewire and an integrated wireless card. There are also 2 compact card slots for photo cards.

It came with XP service pack 1. Since I had a SP2 CD from microsoft, I installed it with no problems. The SP2 security center has a problem communicating with Norton antivirus, but this is not a big issue. I dislike Norton and after the trial version is over, I intend to get rid of it and get Panda (I have this on my desktop).

The only drawback is no floppy drive, but then most laptops are doing away with them.

Clarity on screen is very good. Colors are vibrant and sharp. There is space to either side of touch pad to use a mini mouse.

Performance is good - considering it is a Celeron. Not the fastest laptop on the block but definitely not too sluggish.

After charging fully, I ran the computer playing games for about
an hour and half and it is estimating I have 2 hours left.

So far, I think it is a very good computer for the money.
