i've heard good things about the nushield screen protector (it makes things glossy). Nushield.com see if they support the laptop you have

a cheap lcd cleaning solution: 50% Isopropyl Alcohol and 50% water. the rubbing alcohol they have at drug store are usually 90% Isopropyl Alcohol so just dillute it with water.

bought some lcd monitor clean wipes at compusa and they seem to work with the dust and dirt but leave unsightly streaks. anyone have any solutions for the streaks, its really noticable when working in lighted area.

nevermind, when i first take out a cleaning wipe, its fairly wet, leaving streaks....letting it dry a bit will lose the streaks.

DON'T USE RUBBING ALCOHOL!!

It has oils that will damage the screen. Make sure it's 100%.
