Anyone playing battlefield vietnam on their 6811?

HI all, I just got battlefield vietnam for my 6811 and I'm having some real choppiness and freezing up while playing single player. I have the vid card O'ced and I have had no trouble when playing UT2004 or doom3 but for some reason it's real choppy in BV. I have played with the video settings and I have them at medium and it's still choppy. I happened to notice that the RAM usage during one of the freeze ups was very high. Additionally, does anyone notice that their processor usage spikes quite a bit? Ever since I go this 6811 (after trading in my 6809), I notice random cpu spikes as high as 100%. Does anyone else see this? Thanks for the input everyone!

Since it only has 64mb of video memory, I would put the texture setting on low. The other settings should be fine on medium or maybe even high.

Defrag your hard drive. I play BFVN on a 1.6 P4 with 256Megs of SDRAM and a crappy vid card and it ran choppy. I read somewhere to defrag and it made it run fine.

Never tried it though on my 6805.

yeah, try the game on low settings. I play it with the low settings on my M6809, and it runs quite well

Upgrade to the newest ATI/Omega Drivers, and see if that helps. If not, then peeps were disabling SHADOWS in the Video settings. Then also maybe you may have to set aa and af a little lower to see what happens.
