New Sager Video Driver 8.04

Download here:
http://www.sagernotebook.com/ftp/video/M11_804.exe

Just downloaded and attempting to install now. The date of the driver is 02 Sept. 04. This means that these are newer than the previously discussed 8.0 drivers. I will post what I find later.

Ok, so here are my results:

Since I don't do benchmarking, I'll just have to feed ya'll raw data.

1) These are the 8.04 version of the Sager video drivers and are currently posted in all of the Sager products that use the 9700 card on their support site.

2) The version differences between the older 8.00 and the 8.04 drivers are as follows:
ATI Control Panel
ATI Driver
Date

8.00
-------------
6.14.10.5097
8.00-040322a-014930C
3/22/2004

8.04
------------
6.14.10.5117
8.04-040717a-017135C
7/17/2004

So by my approximation this date coincides with the release of the Omega 4.7 drivers. See thread here

Anyone with interests in further testing is welcome to take over from here.

Anyone want to comment on playback issues, corruption, gameplay problems?
