Lag in web browsing

Hey guys,
Not sure if this qualifys as a tech questions, but its definatley something that I am getting curious about. All of a sudden I noticed when surfing the web, I was scrolling down a webpage and it got real choppy and laggy all of a sudden. Same thing occurs when dragging windows on the desktop, its real choppy. But, it still games just fine, its just that the small things, like web surfing, are getting choppy. Definatley sounds odd, any ideas as to whats going on?

Also, looking in my display properites, in settings, the display says: (Default Monitor) on and then theres a blank there, doesnt say the mobility 9700 or anything.. weird.. May have something to do with me installing the newest omegas? I uninstalled them, and ATI tool and rad linker, so everything i downloaded for the video card is gone..is there a way i can get my default display settings back?
