Is there a thread here or a page at sager that details the specifics of this new BIOS? I looked here and at Sager's site and found nothing. Where are these new BIOSs coming from, just falling from heaven?

It appears Sager has reposted the ATI 8.04 Drivers (ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 Driver for Windows 2000, XP (Version 8.04). Requires System BIOS Verison 1.00.10) Am I correct in thinking the new bios update resolves the video playback issues with the 8.+ ATI drivers? Also thanks to Godbomber for hosting the the d/l.

Yeah, the new bios correct the video playback issues. I'm using the newest Omega's, and its running beautifully.

Question What is the newest 8790 bios?

Hi everybody, i was wondering if anyone knows if there is a newer 8790 bios, i got one about 4 months back or so with the new video bios and i'm wondering if sager has sent out any newer ones. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

PS: How do you check what bios/firmware virsion you have?

On bootup you can see the bios version numbers, the video bios version and the KBC/Firmware revision. Just boot, then do a ctrl+alt+del before window starts a few times so you can write down the data as it goes by pretty quick.
Hope this helps.
