booser71 is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
Benchmark: P35-s6292 17"TruBrite

Well I bit the bullet and got it, so far I'm really impressed....The screen is really nice & the sounds is terrific, you'll be pleasantly surprised!! I will give more reviews the more I play with it...but I do have some benchmarks!!! I did a small comparison to my friends P25-s5263 which has a P4 3.0 (800mhz FBS) and a G-Force FX 5200 64 mb Video card ha sthe same hard drive as mine 80gb 4200rpm....here are some Benchmarks to make a camparison!!

3d mark 2001.....6554

3d mark 2003.....1003....As you can see this is quite lower than my notebook !! Results Below!! I will update as I use my notebook further!

3d mark 2001.....9533

3d mark 2003.....2714

All these numbers are from stock machine...no changes were made, seems not to bad for having only 64mb video card!!!

Hey booser71,

Glad to see that you've picked up a new machine. I had all but given up on Toshiba back when they released the A60 and A70... A new laptop with Radeon 9000 IGP!? What the heck were they thinking? But now the P30 (as it's called here in Canada) is at the top of my list. I'm dying for a detailed review. Hurry up!!!

The fan noise isn't bad at all, the only time I really notice it, is when I start it up, or if it comes out of hibernation!!!
