gave you some more rep Derepente. Can't wait to go home and fix that on mine. It has been annoying losing the wireless connection.

Lightbulb more details on adjusting the power management in the wireless adapter

If you let the intel prowireless set manage your connection, you can double click the icon to get to the wireless adapter menu:
double click the green (or red x over white) intel wireless icon

Then go to the tools menu and click on adapter settings...

Then scroll the middle window to get to the power management setting,

chose highest (higher power use) for a more consistent wireless connection, best for gaming and have the AC adapter plugged in. Chose lowest (lowest power use) for more battery life and possible connection drops, like for email viewing and occasional surfing (not recommended for those situations when you want to win an auction in those final seconds on (your auction site of choice ) There are other settings to "play with" but change one at a time to know what works best for you...imho.

If you don't use the intel prowireless, just go to the hardware manager on the system icon on control panel, and adjust the options that Derepente is speaking about over the advanced tab of the Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection
I don't have an english XP, so i'm sorry if any of the above names are wrong

hi guys,

i installed the BIOS from the first side on my clevo.
now my FN and STRG keys are mixed up.

Can anyone tell me where your keys are? maybe the german layout is another than yours... my FN-Key is in the down left corner. The next one on the right is the STRG-Key. How about you?

I guess we have the same problem

I've got a Spanish keyboard and FN and CTRL keys are mixed too. I don't really mind; I think that it's better because I'm used to have CRTL key at the down left corner of the keyboard and here it wasn't until I updated the BIOS

I think it will be solved with a keyboard BIOS update provided by an european vendor

European BIOS

If you get a european update of the BIOS, don't forget to tell us (and upload it somewhere) if it works

When I try to flash the BIOS on my 3790 to 2.08, it gives me an error: Invalid flash ID, AA55H. What does this mean? How can I get the BIOS installed?

Zero-Point - Thanks for the modem drivers... I've added the info to the main post at the beginning of the thread

As for the bios... it would be good if clevo would make a proper launch of them... but i guess that they're busy with the new clevo m38aw, the sonoma replacement of our fine notebook!
