no, i didn't use any of that. he said he wouldn't use paypal either, i asked. he did give me his phone number, but i never used it. i always talked to him on aim. i've kept everything we've said on there though.

here's how the deal started. he sent me a personal message and email saying:

like ebay or heatware.

i have heatware under karkass

and ebay under sinfallthasher but dont use it anymore.

i don't have a picture on hand, i'll try to get some to you later. it comes with the alienware notebook that came with it, along with the manual. it came with a small laptop bag that it barely fits in. let me know if you want that.

it has a floppy drive that you can take out and put in the secondary battery. i just reformatted it and reinstalled windows xp pro. i have other software i can put in it if you want (like office xp pro, etc). it also comes with the cd's that came with it (2).

that's all the personal messages that were sent. the rest was email and on aol instant messenger. i have everything that was said between us, and if this is a scam, i will post everything else. surely there is something i can do if he doesnt' send me the money like he said he would

hey i sent the pics around 4 pm your time, from my mothers like i said i would.
also like i said the post office said the item was excepted yesterday at 10:50 am.

Honestly im not out to scam anyone.....U have my phone number, if u didnt get the pics and i wasnt online u should have called me to ask where they were....But i understand....Its cool, everything will be alright tomorrow, when everything is being delivered..

plus if your that worried, like I told lawson before we settled on a deal, I can just return it plus shipping cost back to u, or whatever u like.....It hasnt even been 3 days...

ok, i feel better now. if everything works out then i'll make sure let everyone know and you won't look bad at all. but since i've never done anything like this before, and i bought that laptop with my own money that i worked hard for ($2837.05 - i remember exactly what it cost me)

well still no pics. he said he sent them twice yesterday, but i never got them. the money order is supposed to show up today, so we'll see

OK there is a big problem here,

1. there is a nice crack in the case on the left front side, the part of the plastic is sticking out...

2. the screen, ha blemishes all over it, like u had something laying on it..the case is in not the greatest condition.

3. I booted it up, and couldnt get the usb ports to work...Ive checked on that, it just keeps going in and out, like its going crazy...

I asked for pics before we sent anything...u said u tried etc..Was it u were trying to hide the fact that its in the condition that it is in?

Im not slamming ya, since u said this is the first time u have sold or traded online, but im just letting u know im not happy with this. and am going to return it, and dont bother on the money order, I called and had it returned, maybe if they can get it in time. if not i will go to the post office and and get my refund..

hey wait a minute. i insured it through the post office. i have pictures of what it looked like before i sent it. something could have happened to it while it was shipped. i can prove there were no cracks

the usb ports were working fine before i sent it too. i just bought a usb thumb drive and i used it to put some wallpapers on it. i can prove this b/c you can look in my documents and in my pictures and there are i believe 2 alienware wallpapers.
