heat on the keyborad

I have a Sager 5660 with a P4 2.4Ghz 533 FSB

My keyboard warms up after 15 minutes of start up, mainly by the right side. It is this normal?

Soon one becomes stabilized with heat, but a hot keyboard is very uncomfortable and possibly this is bad for the laptop.

left side

I'm sorry, the heat is mainly in the left side.

And another question.

¿Someone knows a program to monitorize the temperature of the processor in Windows?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my poor english.

No, I haven't been able to find any programs that will read the temp on the 5660 and it doesn't show in the bios either.
If you're runnig heavy gaming on it, it will get warm on the left side because that's where the air is pushed out. If you're just surfing and doing small things, it shouldn't be getting hot on the keyboard. You might want to give Sager a call to get it checked out for a cooling problem.

Keyboard warmth is normal, and good for heat dissipation... But being really hot to the touch is not. Are your fans blowing?

My fans blow each five minutes aproximately. The three fans blow. I believe that it is a problem of the processor or the motherboard.

One hour after it started up, the heat in the keyboard is unbearable.

I believe that if I leave the computer running long time it would be burned.

you want to scare to me?

I am going to send to repair the equipment, I believe that already I know where is the defect, must be in the thermal sensor, because the ventilator takes much in beginning to work when I put on the laptop.

Trying pulling out the heat sink and replacing it the way the four screws are numbered, it may have been a quick job at factory level and if the heatsink is unbalanced you may have poor heat dispersion.

Lemme ask you this... when you run on battery power, and the processor underclocks to half speed, is the heat still as bad? I definitely think you should send it in though, based on your description.
