I was reading some horro stories on the net...and on this forum about shipping...etc. I originally asked for normal shipping and they messed up and sent it 3 day (no complaints here) the actual ship date was Dec 28...the day they told me was Dec 27. Overall, I have had an exceptional experience. I must say that I am very sorry fo what mess you people have encountered.

Once the lappy arrives, I'll comment on the condition, benchmarks (I have some version of 3D mark), and overall responsiveness. So far, I have not encountered anything that would deter me from ordering another Alienware system in the future.

ARRGGGHHHHHH.....NOOOOOO....FedEx is canceling the delivery with NO estimated delivery day...it is in town, but they say that it is delayed because of a local holiday...now, I'll have to go all the way across town and pick the little bundle o' joy up at their depo...assuming they are open.

Hi Guys I bought the AW backpack and the 7700 fits, but is a tight fit. the upper corners when stowed stick out a bit. still zips easily. the main problem is the rubber grips on the lappy. It makes it difficult to slide in the sleeve. I was thinking of a static sleeve to cover the computer grip. That should help.
