OK.. so my screen brightness was fluctuating time to time. Actually, all the time if I moved the screen up and down, and occassionally even when there was no screen movement (for this, I had to move the screen a little bit to get the correct brightness). So, I thought may be there a loose connction inside and opened my M6805 to take a look. Unfortunately, all the cables from the LCD looked pretty firmly connected. Disappointed, I was assembling the whole thing back when I saw these three small wires running vary close to the right hinge (near the power button). It appeared that the panel above the key-board (one housing the power, audio buttons etc) was touching those wires when put in place. Actually, I was not being able to put that panel back properly when I realized that those three wires were coming into the way. So, I tried to move the wires away a little (there is not much room there) with one finger and put the panel back. The wires tend to come back the moment you move your finger out. But after a few tries, I did it. And guess what.... NO FLICKER anymore. I moved the screen up and down... nothing.

So, if there is any non-believer like me (non-believer in Emachine suppport....oops Arima support, I mean) who is having screen flicker, I guess its worth giving a try before you RMA it. Or you can RMA it a few times and then do it yourself...
