compaq laptop query
I am curious to know if there are any compaq laptop users out there that would be willing to comment on the R3000T compaq series--some online reviews are positive, but I would love to hear from those who are actually using the machine
my intended purpose is for use in a techincal laboratory--word processing, some excell statistics, some very large graphic jpeg manipulations for publication purposes but also want the processing speed to run some high end software for electrophysiological data collection. I don't need all the bells and whistles of alot of the gaming laptops on the market these days but am looking for a reliable fast processing machine. I don't care about weight, and I have considered toshibas although the reviews are very mixed. Any comments any one is willing to share would be helpful. Thank you. kj |

i did my share of reasearch on that system (the R variant) before i bought my uniwill. If you want RAW CPU POWER I do recommend you get the R (with 3700+). but if you do need raw video, you will need the 9600 gpu of the T.
both are good system. but my experience with HP tech support is rather terrible |
