Here got the answer for you

Quote:
1) If a person in UK buy Asus laptop in US, does Asus have international warranty which will cover it?

------------- No matter where in the world you buy one of Asus's complete units which have the global warranty... it is covered by any of asus's offices.
Ofcourse you could always validate it on your own with Asus. But this gives you an idea.

By the way, if anyone "NOTICED"

http://store.agearnotebooks.com/asusz71v.html

The Z7V comes standard with DDR2-400, not DDR2-533......

Just wanted to point that out.

Not that it makes much differences in speed...LoL!

It actually does make a difference. Yes the timing are less and more but there is a difference in mb/s bandwidth. The z71v does not come standard with anything. Its standard is to support ddr2400 and 533. WHy some sellers choose not to offer 533 is beyond me. 400 is hard to come by. I finally found one i can correct you on. I give my self a pund on the back.
Should have done a benchmark to back up my claims. I base my theory in years of overclcoking and trying all the various brands. Truth of the matter is that timing is less important then clock speed.
