emulation

i know that when i bought my powerbook i was giving up the game compatiblity but i was wondering about emulation. i heard a few things but i didnt know if it was true or not. what i was told was that if you install virtual pc and windows xp that a 2d virtual video card is used. is this true? if it is then ill have to stick with world of warcraft for a while until something new comes out. :P

VirtualPC offers no 3d acceleration. It was planned for version 7, but they pulled it out to get the new version out. A while back, version 3 supported acceleration via a PCI 3dfx card, but it got pulled out of version 4.
