hi nasos
i am from greece too. I suppose you bought the Plaisio badged laptop of Clevo I have a Clevo too, and its fan is annoying.I have already posted a question about this 'issue', but it seems that noone exists with a workaround to this problem, because i got no reply. I guess that we have to stand this noise . . . what would be handy , is if there was an utility in which we could adjust fan speed. So if we set a lower fan speed, and set it to 'continuous' option, perhaps we could achieve an average temperature of 50-55 degrees with less noise, while doing office applications only of course. Currently, it gets 46 degrees with continuous full fan speed. But i doubt that there is an option to adjust the fan speed in this bios.... Last edited by Alex_29; 03-09-2005 at 11:39 AM. |

try the new fan program discussed in the mobmeter alternative thread and find a fan speed that is satisfactory for you.
