Go here:

ftp://alienware.com/Mobile/7700/

Make sure you "unistall" the original Nvidia drivers, reboot and then install the new package. Make sure to optimize your performance settings, and turn "powermiser" off.

1. Sure, use this exact link for the download:

ftp://alienware.com/Mobile/7700/VGA/...IA_6.7.6.0.zip

This will download the latest driver, save it to a place you will remember!

2. Decompress the ZIP to a folder, make a folder if it's easier named "drivers" or some such.

3. Go to start > control panel > add or remove programs and the remove the Nvidia Display drivers.

4. Reboot, *note once you reboot you screen will look terrible as it's in low resolution mode.

5. Run the "setup.exe" file from the folder you unzipped in setp #2 this will re-install the driver. Answer the prompts and reboot, and then you done. If you still have trouble call AW then can walk you though thr entire process over the phone.

Thanks... when I was looking at my driver version... it says 6.14.10.6760 is that the same version as that link? Because the link says 6.7.6.0?

The very end of your driver says "6760" so it the same as AW has available. If you want to try something newer, you could go to:

http://www.omegadrivers.net/

They are custom drivers from a third party group.

Oh yes definitely, go back to DX 9.0C. Run "dxdiag" from the start > run and check the version for sure.
