Hi there,
For all us potential international buyers, is it possible to order an 8886 with an Australian (or otherwise) style power plug? It is my understanding that the power supply is capable of handling our 240V current. Many thanks, Grant. |

I can't speak to that point specifically, but I can tell you that the power converter can handle the power settings there and if you can't get it with your style plug, a little adaptor is a dollar or so here in the U.S. You just plug the power converter into the back of the adaptor and it makes the plug some other type without affecting the actual power (and without really affecting the size or weight). Regardless, it would be easier if you could just order it with the right plug from the start. I imagine an email to Sager themselves would best solve this (if PCTorque doesn't see this first and answer it :-)). Best of luck!

We offer the adaptors in the travel packs in the accessories section.

lol, I didn't notice those before... Those are excellent for the traveller... Not to mention the phone accessories for the modem. I hadn't thought of that.
