m6811 Help Please

I wanna upgrade the HD and want to know where the HD bay is located.
Also i have to send it back to emachines to fix hinge cracks so does the HD upgrade void my warrenty???
Should i upgrade then send or send then upgrade my HD

Look under the touchpad, you really cant miss it. pulls out from the front after unscrewing

It shouldn't void your warranty,

and if you are really concerned about it, just replace the HDD, and also keep the old one, and inserte it back in should you need any type of warranty service anytime in the future.

I would just put the old hard drive in temporarily just in case.

Alright another question. I used norton ghost to clone HD to HD and when i install the New HD in the computer when it gets to the login screen it Logs on Then Logs Back Off. There is no way that i can log in and stay loggen in to use the computer?? Help please..

Hmmm, try logging in as administrator by going in through safe mode.
