Dell, better range, better compatibility, more options. The 1350 can be used with the various Wep cracking utilities, the intel can't.

I've heard from some that the bg dell is better than the bg intel, but the abg intel might be better than the abg dell. It's newer and compliant with a newer standard if that even makes a difference. I got the abg intel because it was free when I bought. Haven't had a chance to test it out exhaustively yet.

I have the Intel 2200 and I'm very happy with it. The connection is reliable and works everywhere in the house, including the basement. And it picks up a signal from 3 other neighbors.

I have an intel, and it works great, anywhere in my house. I guess go for which ever one you want, or which ever one is cheaper, because both will give good results (based on other users opinions).
b/g is fine, I don't know of many "a" wireless networks |

Performing a full dictionary crack.. which is what will be required to obtain a WEP key is definitely possible, but I doubt you have the equipment necessary to do so in one minute. Now if you are talking about deprecated devices with the known bad keys, you are indeed correct, won't take long to get at the WEP key, but we're talking devices that are 3 years old... and hopefully those few with wireless then have patched their firmwares to remove the weak key problem.

I got the intel. The centrino sticker added 500 to my 3dMark.
