Fatal system error

Hi all! I just got this error when I started the machine -
Stop: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows Logon Process Terminated Unexpectedly with a Status of 0x00000402 (0x00000000 0x00000000) The system has been shut down.
Has any one seen this or had this before? I'm debating on getting Dell to replace this laptop due to some other issues but I am curious if anyone has seen this error or do I have a hard drive issue going on too?

Nope I just upgraded the Record now off the Dell website to ver 7.3

So this is an IE6 bug? Does Dell use Roxio for it's restore program?

If this isn't being reportrd by alot of people I think I 've got a lemon from Dell with the other hardware issues with this machine.
Thanks for the help

Ive had it happen with alienware crap but not with dell anyways your OS might be corrupted at worst i think you will have to reload your OS which will benefit you to take all the dell junk out and start from scratch i think you can also system restore but if you are in your 21 day period dont hesitate send it back quick and get another one 2nd time is the charm.

Restart the notebook.
Press f12 at the dell screen.
put your xp installation cd in. And choose cd/dvd and press enter.
When asked, choose "R" for repair.
You'll be asked for administrator password, press enter if you don't have a administrator password.
At the dos prompt, looks like this A:\ type
chkdsk /r
press enter. It'll scan for windows errors.

This will repair your Notebook 100% guarantee.
