SM Bus Controller?

I'm getting a question mark in the device manager for my 5680 for SM Device Manager. I do update driver and point it to the CD and it doesn't do crap... Any idea what this is? The computer seems to be working fine?

Try the TV Tuner CD if you have one, or see if this old thread can give some clues. Good luck!

EDIT: Might also be the Sony Memory stick? See the same thread for driver info.

I have an 8890 and I had that too, then I install the chipset drivers from the drivers cd. which removed that problem. Hope that helps

Had the same problem and everyone with this problem needs to download the Intel Chipset drivers from either Intel directly: http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...l&submit=Go%21

Or they should be on your Driver CD.

All is good now...
