But what is up with that keyboard? Why does Acer insist on using that curved keyboard?!

I wasn't sure I really liked that curved keyboard either. I always found ergo keyboards very annoying, no matter how long I tried to get used to them. But that was before I got my Ferrari 3200. Immidiately it felt good. I hate having to use my work laptop because of the normal layout. But there's no way I'd use my 3200 for work..... hehehe all play anywhere in my house....

DNE, I'm relatively a noob but lets get by that for the moment........

First I want to say that in the last month, I've spent as much as 8 hours a day surfin the net and reading computer forums and websites and I have to say that of all the notebook/laptop computers I've seen, your Ferrari is by far the nicest looking machine I've seen. Now a few painless questions, I've curious like a cat and would love to know how much a machine like the one in the photos could retail for if it were fully loaded? Also, how much does the exact machine in the photos cost? Last question, in your opinion is there a better looking machine available on this planet?
Respectfully,
Ed

All depends on who you talk to, I mean beauty is in the eye of the beholder... always will be.

Yes, I think the Ferrari 4k5 notebook is a beautifully designed PC, and personally can't think of one that looks better. Doesn't mean there isn't one, but I can't think of any.

The 4005 model Ferrari is still selling for approx. $2000 US.
The 4006 model, which seems to only have a CPU upgrade of 200MHz and comes with Windows XP x64 Edition out of the box is going for $2200.

Definetley a expensive laptop, but also not the $3000 to $4000 a maxed out Alienware or VoodooPC laptop would cost.

It's all about what you want.

Wow, very nice, I don't think I've seen anyone else use carbon fiber, except of course the 9300 snap-on lid, but it doesn't look anything like this.

1.2" to 1.34" inches, about. Definitely no thicker than the Asus Z71A/V
