Question VGA temps and Dual-Monitor setup?

Does a dual monitor setup raise the VGA temps? Ever since i hooked up my Sony LCD as a 2nd monitor, my radeon x800 mobile temps have been fairly high (idle is high 60s/low 70s C). Before the 2nd monitor the card would idle in the mid 40s, low 50s C.

Yeah, that makes sense. If you think of the card as having to draw twice as many pixels as it normally does, then you'll realise it makes sense the card should heat up.

Heat is bad... Let's all move to Alaska.

I have 2 large fans in my room and I'm from Kentucky... My dad keeps the house temp at around 64 degrees (F). So I think I may be alright... Just gonna have to put my fans behind my PC desk now.

I've had my temperature up to 90 c when gaming. Apparently the card can handle 115 c before it starts to throttle?

It can handle up to 127 C. I'm gonna use it to cook my quick noodle when I'm hungry.

Where did you read it could go to 127? Or have you seen it go that high? I'm shocked. I thought the plastic to the left of the touchpad would burn through. 127!
