I am just wondering if anyone of you ever have similar problem? My nc4000 basically just beeps from time to time (3 short beeps). The problem started about a week ago. It was pretty hot at that time, but it doesn't get as hot anymore now.

What I noticed is when it beeps, the fan starts to kick-in. So, I am guessing it is a problem with overheating, but it is not that hot anymore and the beeps are still there.

I tried to use online chat with HP support, but they keep suggesting it might be a problem with third party software, which I am pretty sure is not. I have not installed anything on it for some time now and the problem started just a week ago.
