Our admins take the best and most objective laptop reviews and index them here to create a distinct selection of quality reviews with averaged overall ratings. Many of these reviews have benchmarks attached to them which allows for users to compare their laptop's performance with others, and ultimately enables us to provide a sortable list which at a glance show the fastest laptops amongst a variety of applications (gaming, video editing, web browsing, etc...). If you don't mind the extra weight and size, FS is far superior due to its 6800

Its hard to find express card but you could always try searching. An USB adapter is easier to find and will of course work.

Can you be more specific about the battery time? How long can you watch a DVD for unplugged at medium brightness?
Alienware is selling this laptop as their Area 51m 5700.

Sorry if that's old news...I didn't want to look through ~40 pages to find that statement.

Can´t decide

I´ve read almost all the thread in this forum but I still can´t decide if I should buy the 3438 or the 4438.

I need a laptop for graphic work like Autocad,3D Studio Max, Inventor, Photoshop...
Should I go for a faster processor M770 2,13GHz but a WXGA+ display or a M760 2,0GHz with a WUXGA? I would take both the machines with 2gb Ram.

Hey Zedith...

I recently got an M3438G and think its pretty good. I use it mainly for Actionscripting (flash), photoshop, Autocad and illustrator....i find it handles them with no probs...

I also play a couple of games ... Age of Empires 3 and Call of Duty....no probs with these either...

I use to have a Sager and the a couple of differences are: 1, The M3438G deosnt get that hot (the sager use to be like an oven) 2, The build quality of the Sager was a bit better...but only slightly...

Anyway, i think you wont go wrong with the M3438G....

Just my opinion
